introducing Diesel

Diesel is a lost cat.
he got "lost" (aka he fled) from his owners' house in june, and started coming to our home to get some food in early july.
he was terrified, his family had published a photo of him... in a small cage, as if he were a rabbit. and then you wonder why he fled...
well anyway, when he started coming to our terrace in july (almost every cat living nearby comes here because we always leave food for them^^), he was starving and terrified.
it took over a month for me to be able to touch him without having him running away in fright.
then 2 weeks to get him to play... then ages later he started going into our house, but not further than the kitchen.

and today, suddenly, he went straight upstairs to my room, all by himself. i was so stunned i took pics ^^
aint he cuuuuuuuute!
problem: he's not mature at all; he's not even weaned properly and seems scared by very insignificant things.
he doesnt even know how to mew, nor to play without scratching things. hence my mangled right arm :P

save totoro's forest!!

remember the giant tree where those lovely fuzzy things (cross between a cat, a beaver, a bear and an owl) were inhabiting?
remember that forest where mei and satsuki (whatever the spelling) liked to play and live some cool adventures with the catbus?
remember the fuzzy black balls and how you wanted one at home?

well, this forest is about to be destroyed. being close to tokyo, the japanese want to build more and more and totoro's forest (which is actually a real place) is an obstacle.
drawers from pixar studios, with miyazaki and the ghibli studios, have put up a website where we can help supporting the cause:

go have a look and help saving totoro!
save a huge part of your childhood!
